Construction Sequencing

Many large projects frequently face the challenges of scope gaps, construction sequencing being a typical one. Due to it's responsibility being shared by the manufacturer, subs, or GC, regardless of who owns the scope, a structural engineer needs to prepare a submittal and in some OSHA cases, an in-depth plan, or sequence of events to suffice the needs of their rigorous safety requirements.

Zenith has helped manufacturers, subcontractors, GC's and developers prepare construction sequence submittals for OSHA and safety purposes. Sequencing is seen on multi-family projects that involve various load bearing light gauge metals and panelized wood framed shear panels. The point of the sequencing is to ensure large HSS posts are safe to the rest of the construction project until they are fully supported by the rest of the structure framed envelope.
