We have helped numerous developers and investors run code analysis on existing buildings to see what is allowed by code and what would be required in a seismic code adoption sense for the building to comply. On the design side, we are familiar with a host of solutions to increase the structural capacity of an inadequate building, to changes in code, increased loads from new use, new penetrations and openings by using FRP wrap, shotcrete, external post tensioning, concrete enlargements and external post tensioning.
